Biography

Cheryl has over 20 years’ experience in senior leadership and consulting roles in professional and human services firms, including in corporate psychology, executive search, and career management.

Cheryl oversees key client relationships and works with clients to manage significant change in organisations and its impact on individuals. Having overseen many large-scale projects Cheryl has a strategic focus on achieving outcomes
for the organisations and individuals that our organisation partners with and supports.

She has had extensive experience working with banking and financial services, technology and telecommunications, professional services, higher education, health, government and not-for-profit sectors. Her earlier career was in HRwith a focus on learning & development.

Cheryl’s role includes responsibility for national client services, partnering with organisations to support their needs and helping them to manage risk and reputation while ensuring effective outcomes are delivered in talent management and career transition. She has also worked extensively with C-suite executives to provide coaching and career strategy.

Coaching Expertise
Before joining Directioneering in 2014, Cheryl spent a decade partnering with C-level executives planning their next career moves, leading the ACT, NSW & VIC offices of one of Australia’s most respected corporate psychology consulting firms. Cheryl advised national organisations on effective and healthy people strategies when planning and executing significant transformation.

Cheryl led an embedded career transition team within a Big 4 bank, advising HR & business leaders on Career Transition (CT) and Redeployment (RD) strategies aligned to the client’s corporate strategy, employee experience and employment branding goals.

Cheryl has significant experience guiding individuals at all levels through change, helping them to find direction and new meaning in their careers.
